An immersive family journey in Kenya where children engage in emotional intelligence classes and families experience authentic local life together as a village.

JAN 10 - 31st
JOIN US FOR A LIFE CHANGING THREE WEEKS
This journey to Kenya is far more than a vacation. It is an opportunity to live, learn, and grow together in a truly meaningful way.
These three weeks are designed
to be unlike any trip you've taken because instead of doing it all solo, families come together as one in a shared community. We will be living together, cooking together, sharing meals, getting to know one another and experiencing daily life as a village.
Instead of fancy resorts, you will step into a more simple, grounded way of living that allows for deeper connection with the locals, your kids and each other. Instead of rushing around, you will slow down and find yourself in nature, where you will experience this African paradise in a relaxed, authentic and intentional way.
At the heart of the experience, children take part in daily emotional intelligence classes designed to build empathy, communication, conflict resolution, self-awareness, and emotional regulation, all taught through play, creativity, and connection. These are the most important skills for your children to have to ensure they can grow up and be happy, to thrive instead of just survive. They give up their devices and instead gain real relationships.
The parents are also supported through daily sharing circles and heart opening ceremonies where they can speak openly about their joys and challenges, and be met with connection, presence, and deep listening.
This is a space where families deepen their bonds, children gain lifelong skills, and the experience of Kenya becomes something you do not just visit, but truly live.

WHO AM I?
I am Arune, a single mum to a wonderful daughter, and deeply passionate about the environment, sustainable living, natural medicine, and alternative education. I grew up in South Africa and now live off-grid in the Ozarks in the USA (you can see our intentional community here www.ForestKind.org). Despite traveling widely, Africa has always held a special place in my heart... there is just no place like it!
Since my daughter was born ten years ago, I’ve been committed to homeschooling and researching what truly helps children thrive. For me, the most important thing is that she grows into a healthy, well-adjusted human with strong relationships with others and also herself. I’ve found that spending most of their days outdoors and emotional intelligence are key, and for the past seven years I’ve been teaching these skills in homeschool coop's and communities.
And here I am bringing together my passion for Africa and teaching kiddos into one magical journey!

A Three-Week Journey into Emotional Intelligence for Kids
This three-week course offers a gentle, playful, and supportive space where children explore emotional intelligence in a way that feels natural and engaging. Rather than structured lessons, learning is woven into games, creative activities, storytelling, and relaxed group connection.
Each day includes play, creative expression, and meaningful check-in circles where children can share their feelings in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Through this, they begin to understand themselves more deeply while learning to listen, empathize, and connect with others.
Why Emotional Intelligence Matters
Emotional intelligence is one of the most important life skills a child can develop. It shapes how they navigate relationships, communicate, and handle challenges. Children who build emotional awareness grow into more resilient, compassionate, and confident adults.
In a world that often prioritizes academics, these skills are what truly help a person thrive — allowing them to form strong relationships, resolve conflict, and move through life with a sense of inner stability.
